Master Service Task

Master Service Tasks (Master STs) are used for special use cases and therefore have increased restrictions.

Typical use cases include:

  • Blocking/Critical CRs release in between CRM release
  • Temporary branch for customers’ specific milestone
  • Limited marketing issue CRs release after launch

Increased restrictions:

  • All customers can create Master STs and Add CR/Gerrit without additional privileges
  • All other actions for the Master ST must be performed by a privledged Qualcomm team who manages these tasks
